On the Friday before Mother’s Day, Jef gave me my present. (we are really bad about keeping presents until the actual day) I was glad he gave it to me early, because I was able to take these pictures!
We’ve been blessed to be able to go on dates on Friday nights. This Friday, we went to
Wright Park and took a walk. We walked around the neighborhood, too, and I took some pictures of flowers on our way.
L-R from the top:
The light pink flowers are azealeas (Wright Park).
Duck (Wright Park)
Beautiful rhodie (Rhododendron) on our walk (N. Yakima Ave.)
Tree tunnel (N. Yakima Ave.)
A pink tree (“)
don’t know what this flower is … anyone want to guess?
blue flowers!
Cool pink tree (on our walk … N. Yakima Ave.)
fuzzy lilac-colored flowers
this white flower was on a hedge, the buds were pink, but the flowers came out white.
Entrance to Wright Park (Division & N. Yakima St.)
The Cascade Mountains – very faintly (at the dock by Anthony’s and the boathouse and the ferry to Vashon Island)
Pink azaleas and duck (same as first two pictures)

If you can’t see the whole collage of pictures, click on it, and it will open bigger.

About Sonja

I am a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, a Christian, a scrapbooker, a cook, a baker, a reader, and a thinker. I am many other things, too, that are not so easily defined. Right now, God has been calling me to be faithful in what He has given me to do – to be the best wife, mom, homeschooler, friend, etc. that I can be. In essence, He has told me to “bloom where I’m planted”.
