Nicholas prayed

Should have asked him sooner!

Last evening, we went to help at the coffee shop (which is opening today!!!). When we got there, I had the beginning of a migraine. I took Tylenol and was able to help for a while. The headache kept getting stronger, though, and more Tylenol didn’t help. Jeff said it was because I hadn’t had coffee, and he told me to eat some espresso beans (they have yummy chocolate covered ones). Those didn’t help at all. By this time, the headache was so bad, I thought I was going to be sick. I laid down on the couch and waited ’til we could go home.
When we got home, the kids got ready for bed. I usually go down to their room and tuck them in and pray, but tonight they came to me. We prayed, and when we were done, Nicholas had his hand raised. I said, “Yes?” and he said, “And for your headache.” I asked him to pray for me and he did. When I opened my eyes, the headache was gone! I went to bed and actually slept!! Feeling better this morning. Not 100%, but still tons better than last night!

Thank you, God! (and thanks, Nicholas, for thinking to pray)

About Sonja

I am a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, a Christian, a scrapbooker, a cook, a baker, a reader, and a thinker. I am many other things, too, that are not so easily defined. Right now, God has been calling me to be faithful in what He has given me to do – to be the best wife, mom, homeschooler, friend, etc. that I can be. In essence, He has told me to “bloom where I’m planted”.
