What day is it today?

Time is non-existent for me sometimes. I’ve been out of the loop as to what day it is for a while!
Today was a pretty good day. Actually, This whole week has been pretty good. I haven’t really been bored yet, so that is good, too. ๐Ÿ™‚
The kids have been getting out a lot and Jeff has still been able to work. The boys went to see a free movie (“Charlotte’s Web”) on Tuesday and went out to lunch with friends. Then today they got to go to another free movie (“The Water Horse”?) with their Aunt Marie and cousin Jacob. They had a lot of fun both times.
Today after lunch, we all hung out in my room and Jonathan read “Rikki Tikki Tavi” to us. I love that story. He did a good job of reading, using different inflections for different characters and such. ๐Ÿ™‚
When Jeff got home from work, I washed my hair! ๐Ÿ™‚ Brian & Lori came over and had supper with us. Then Lori chopped off my hair. We are going to send the two ponytails to Locks of Love. ๐Ÿ™‚ Now my hair is short and doesn’t get in my way anymore. It’s so nice. I’ll post pictures tomorrow.
Tomorrow is music with Mom in the morning. Then our friend Barbara is coming over for a visit in the afternoon. The kids are going to a farm in the afternoon, too. I hope they have fun.
I’m doing okay. God is good. ๐Ÿ™‚ Talk to you tomorrow!

Day 15 of 100 days of blogging; day 8 of bed rest.

About Sonja

I am a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, a Christian, a scrapbooker, a cook, a baker, a reader, and a thinker. I am many other things, too, that are not so easily defined. Right now, God has been calling me to be faithful in what He has given me to do โ€“ to be the best wife, mom, homeschooler, friend, etc. that I can be. In essence, He has told me to โ€œbloom where Iโ€™m plantedโ€.

So glad you are doing all right. Must be hard to stay flat for so long a time. Pray that God gives grace in your time(s) of need.
