Friday, June 16, we went to the homeschool convention. Jef found a great set of classic books with bookends! The whole thing was only $14!! So here is our mantel, with some books between the Winnie the Pooh bookends, the clock, and our new set of books & bookends. You can also see my nutcracker (from when Jef took me to see the Pacific NW Ballet’s Nutcracker) and my little Russian eggs from Linda. It is a nesting set – one big, one little. 🙂 We are hoping to keep the mantel uncluttered like this.
