Human Contact …

So we’re watching “CSI”, as is our routine on Thursday nights, and Catherine ends the show by asking Gil “is it a crime to want a little human contact?”. Sadly, Catherine has a daughter at home who hasn’t seen her in a week. Yet she goes out to a bar to unwind and meet someone. Something to mull over. 😉

I’ve been learning about human contact this week, too. I have a confession to make. I play “The Sims”, a computer game where you can create and “control” simulated people/families. There’s a drawback, though. The game is so addictive that you don’t even realize how much time has passed. My poor boys haven’t seen much of Mommy. I’m thinking a new plan would be to save the game for when they are gone (they go visiting sometimes, and even spend the night …) or at least until my chores are done, the boys are schooled and in bed. Pray that I can do this (I’m serious).

Oh, by the way, today is my dear Sister’s birthday. She is, well, let’s see … I turned thirty this year. That makes Susan 40, Mike 42 and Sharon 44. 😀 Mom & Dad had it all perfect until I came along. :o) Happy birthday, Sharon!!! I love you!!!

About Sonja

I am a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, a Christian, a scrapbooker, a cook, a baker, a reader, and a thinker. I am many other things, too, that are not so easily defined. Right now, God has been calling me to be faithful in what He has given me to do – to be the best wife, mom, homeschooler, friend, etc. that I can be. In essence, He has told me to “bloom where I’m planted”.
