Think about this ~

But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
Titus 3:4-5

cool site

If you go to crosscards.com, you will find cool e-cards and neat wallpaper. The wallpaper has a Scripture or a quote and some of them have little calendars of the month. I like it. It is a neat site. Crosscards.com lets me change my mood every month! That’s easier for Jef – otherwise I’d want to rearrange the living room! (well, I still want to do that!)

Anniversary, etc.

Today is the anniversary of the first day Jef kissed me! 🙂

The verse for today is ~

For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.
I Corinthians 1:25

A little dreary

Today is not as bright and clear as yesterday was. I woke up a little dreary, too. Part of it had to do with Jef saying we needed to get up at 6:45 a.m.!! :p
Last night, the Newsboys were in Everett, WA (about an hour and a half away) for a concert. I didn’t get to go. 🙁 That was a bummer. Maybe they’ll come around again!
Today we need to get back to doing school & I need to keep cleaning. I have been trying to clear out stuff again. Sometimes I wish I just had one pot and one plate (for each of us) and so on! Th amount of stuff we accumulate is atrocious! Lately it has been papers! I think there must be a paper multiplier in our house.
Tonight I go walking with friends and then watch the kids during the board meeting. After the board meeting is Ladies Bible Study.
Need my coffee – and the boys need breakfast!

Verse of the day

If you return to the Lord, then your brothers and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will come backto this land, for the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
2 Chronicles 30:9

Finally …

Well, I’ve often wondered where I stood in the whole realm of theological thought. God has taught me so many different things about what I used to believe and what I believe now. So I took this test/survey and this is what it came up with –
I’m a Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. (not sure what exactly that is, though!!)

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.
