Isn’t this pretty?

Evva gave me a set (service for four) of dishes last week. I really like them, but since there are only four, and they are more breakable, I don’t think I’ll be using them on a regular basis. ๐Ÿ™ However, here is a picture, and a link to my wishlist (click here). You can see the pieces I put on my list on amazon.com. ๐Ÿ™‚ They have a sugar & creamer set (something I’ve never had) in this pattern!

About Sonja

I am a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, a Christian, a scrapbooker, a cook, a baker, a reader, and a thinker. I am many other things, too, that are not so easily defined. Right now, God has been calling me to be faithful in what He has given me to do โ€“ to be the best wife, mom, homeschooler, friend, etc. that I can be. In essence, He has told me to โ€œbloom where Iโ€™m plantedโ€.

  • very pretty! my service is apples but they are getting chipped because we use them regularly. I do have my china that used to be my MIL but very rarely use it. So hey, go here http://littlemama4two.blogspot.com/and check out my newest post. Oh and regarding the virtual academy…one of my friends used it for several years and declared that it was way too much work for her kids (who are very smart). They had her son doing college work in 9th grade and then when he did poorly in English, flunked him! Go figure! She is now a homeschooler! BUT, the vitual academy got her out of the ps system in the sense that her son was at home with her. The other thing was they couldn’t do anything “religious” for their papers etc. I am glad to see the boys are doing well. I remember when I tested Tori in 3rd grade…she had a 7th grade reading level but understood on a 5th grade level…wow! Even now, her favorite subject is spelling (I think she takes after her mama)!! Love you ~ Sharon

How do we get to your wish list? We clicked and it took us to books to buy???

    Dad

  • Well, when I click on it, it shows the dishes at the top of the page! Jef & I have books on there (we *love* books!!), so you may have to scroll down … I am not sure. Let me know what happens.

  • Thanks, Sharon! You’ll have to find a picture of yours & send it to me. Better yet, tell me the name of it & I will look it up on the net. ๐Ÿ˜‰

“a link to my wishlist (click here)”

I find it amusing that _Over the Hedge_ is listed right next to Noam Chomsky.

  • Sorry, you must have the wrong wishlist! We don’t have either Noam Chomsky (we wouldn’t) or “Over the Hedge” (probably wouldn’t either!) on ours!! ๐Ÿ™‚
