Morning musings

Maybe I should go back to that 100 Days of Blogging thing. I’m certainly over my quota for the past couple days!
You know what I’d really like? If Blogger was a little more like Xanga and you could put what you are listening to, reading or playing on your post. That would be cool. I’m listening to “Sugar Sugar” right now, and I am reading New Moon, the second book in this series about vampires.
So last night I started and finished Twilight. It was good, even though I knew Edward was a vampire because Morgan & Christina had already told me. 🙂 And Mel – she is really into these books, too.
The book was good – it kept my attention.
I forgot why I started to write this blog post. that’s sad. I’m only 33.
It’s October 1st. Usually around this time the fog/mist rolls in to Tacoma. I usually take a walk in the fog – I love it. I love summer here, but I love fall more. I do miss the trees changing color, but out here something interesting happens. Since all the trees don’t change color, the ones that do seem more vibrant and they make the others more vibrantly verdant. (been reading – see?!) Last fall we had a lot of yellows and oranges. There was a tree at the Garden, though, that was spectacularly red/orange. I’d never seen a tree so deep and bright – maybe due to the fact that it was surrounded by green and that made it stand out even more.
Okay – I need to actually get to work now. The natives are restless. :o)

About Sonja

I am a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, a Christian, a scrapbooker, a cook, a baker, a reader, and a thinker. I am many other things, too, that are not so easily defined. Right now, God has been calling me to be faithful in what He has given me to do – to be the best wife, mom, homeschooler, friend, etc. that I can be. In essence, He has told me to “bloom where I’m planted”.
