My Three Sons
As you can see, Nicholas didn’t really want his picture taken. Daniel asked why I always take pictures now and Jonathan didn’t know I’d snapped that one (or he would have made a face, too!)

the mountain
The boys & I went for a walk with our friends, the Clarkes. We walked on Ruston Way, which is by the water. It was a beautiful day. In this picture you can see Mount Rainier in the distance. I’ve come to love & look forward to seeing her each day. Sometimes, I see her in unexpected places; places I’ve looked before and not noticed she was there! 🙂

1943 vs. 2007
Jeff & the boys (and Greg) were watching old videos on YouTube today. He ran across this and we watched it tonight. It isn’t long, only about 7 minutes (with a small intro), but the message is amazing! Tell me what you think! Go here – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvp3zAPraF4 – to watch it if it doesn’t play below.
I thought the stuff about Hitler was especially apropos to Al Qaeda today. Sad thing is, in 1943 our media didn’t fall for it. Or did they?
Here’s the video:

what’s happening
Well, we’ve been busy.
God is good. Jef is putting in a network for a new client. They have asked for a contract, so that is good!!! 🙂 We’ve praising the Lord a lot for that!
Our schedule is all messed up. We need to go shopping … we need to do laundry … but we are having fun! 🙂 Jef has been gone to work but we have friends who come and drive us places. 🙂
Today we are going to see “Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the WereRabbit“. It’s a free movie at Regal Cinemas. 🙂
Jef is working, then he has a referral group meeting … we’re going to the movie … I think that is all that’s happening. 🙂 Talk to you again soon!!

Nicholas was waiting for the ball. Tonight they learned how to be “sweepers” – you protect the goalie & try to get the ball away from the other team coming at you.
Jonathan playing soccer – he’s the one in shorts who doesn’t have the ball.

Jonathan was trying to escape! :o)
Brittany, Daniel & Adam (Brittany & Adam are sibllings.)
It was rainy Wednesday night (imagine that!) and Brianna let Nicholas borrow her sweater. 🙂

Okay – so the other pictures didn’t post, so I’ll post them separately.

Pictures of Soccer VBS
We’ve been having a VBS soccer camp at the city park right near the church. It has been a fun week. We seem to be reaching people we wouldn’t normally, and hopefully they are seeing the love of Jesus in us!
Wednesday, Jef took pictures for me (he’s the first aid guy, I’m a coach – ha!). So here are some of Daniel playing. I will post more of the other two. 🙂 (only so many fit in one blog post)
Daniel & Maddie going for the ball.
Daniel trying to get to the ball again – I don’t know if he ever did get it!
Daniel “throwing in” – Notice no one is ready to “head” that one!!

Camping
Well, we did it. We’ve taken the plunge & we’re going camping. Michelle (my pastor’s wife) talked me into it. 😉 (actually, I have wanted to go camping for a while – we finally have the stuff (thanks, Debbie, for the tent!!), so we can go!
We’ll be gone until Thurs. Here’s the link to the state park we’ll be visiting – http://www.parks.wa.gov/parkpage.asp?selectedpark=Deception%20Pass&pageno=1
It should be pretty fun. I even got a fishing license! There is fresh & salt water there for us to play in and trails to hike. I’m taking my camera, so I’ll fill you all in when I get back!

My husband loves me

Yesterday I was showing a friend the pictures Jef took when he “stole” my camera and went for a walk. I had not seen this one, but absolutely loved it! He not only got cute houses (one of my favorite things), he got the mountain, which I almost didn’t see! I love Mt. Rainier. She is so pretty. I love all her moods and styles she wears. 🙂
Okay, I’m off to bed. Just had to share.
